Had to run some errands today so had very little time free in the garage.

Just a reminder of what the pass cowl panel looked like. This picture is from the 24 September 02 update.
Started by cutting out the damaged bit.
I would have thought this piece would be one single flat piece of metal.. but it ended up being like 6. The metal I used was thinner than I would have liked (either 20 or 22 ga). Upon reflection, I should have used seam sealer on the joint between this panel and the floor instead of welding. At least I'll know tomorrow when I do the same with the driver's side. I think I'm about out of the thin metal, so I might make the driver's side out of either the spare El Camino bed material or the 16ga steel.
